Like most people, we are taking each day as it comes, and will continue to take and send out orders for as long as we are allowed. We maintain a very high level of hygiene, and follow all government best practice guidelines. In order to reduce the number of trips to the Post Office, we will be operating on a "post every other day" schedule for the time being, although we do have limited contact with staff as our post is mostly processed by us.
We currently have an extended dispatch time on all items. Any tile orders taken will need to be agreed by us as our tile supplier is currently closed and we do not have a lot of stock left, particularly the 150mm tiles. Where a tile order is accepted, please allow at least two weeks for dispatch.
Please be aware that Royal Mail are experiencing delays of several days, and as such, your order may take longer than usual to arrive. Orders to outside the UK are also taking considerably longer to arrive their destinations.
All delivery times are in addition to our dispatch timescales, which can be found here.
Standard 3-5 working day delivery to the UK starts at £1.49 per order. An upgrade to first class is available from £3.
Delivery to Europe is from £5 for all items except tiles, for which a charge of £5 for every 4 100mm tiles is made, and £8 for every 4 150mm tiles. Please contact us for an exact quotation.
We can ship worldwide, however rather than charge a one off cost for this, it will be done on a case by case basis. Please contact us for rates.
Wooden Pan Stand/Trivet Made With Cath Kidston Garden Bird Charcoal
Completely unique shabby chic trivet, hand crafted by Simply Divine Things.
Each 6 inch square trivet is carefully crafted using Cath Kidston Garden Bird fabric in charcoal and a ceramic tile with wood surround. The tile is finished with a special coating to protect it from heat, dust, dirt, grease and spillages. The wood is left untreated. On the bottom is felt, so it can be placed on any surface and won’t damage it.
This item does not have any vanish involved in the making process, so it will not yellow over time. Due to the nature of handmade items they may have the odd flaw. This is part of the design appeal, and as you can see in the picture, they are finished to an extremely high standard, and are fit for purpose.
Each trivet will be slightly different depending on the fabric piece used.
The trivets come with special care instructions:
Usage: Any spillages should be removed immediately with a soft damp cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading. Dropping a trivet will most likely result in breakage as they are made from ceramic tiles.
Cleaning: Use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and a very small amount of bleach free clearner. Do not submerse in water or put in a dishwasher as this will damage your trivet, as will abrasive cleaning materials. Please bear on mind that if the wood is left damp for a long time, this may result in mould growth.
